Once there are 20 lookalikes, many from unknown sources, nobody will have the slightest idea which ones are good knock-offs and which ones are not.

Read the book "Bottle of Lies" to see how Ranbaxy and other Indian and Chinese generics manufacturers had all the right paperwork but none of the right drugs. And those were regulated products.
