I find it ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that, in numerous States in the USA, ANYONE can walk into a Voting centre and cast their vote WITHOUT PRODUCING ANY IDENTIFICATION !!

In my part of the world :-

(1) You can ONLY VOTE in that district where you are registered as a voter.
(2) You have to produce your Identity Document, which also contains a photograph of yourself,
(3) You are given a paper voting form with all the names and emblems of those standing for election. You place your "X" against the party you wish to vote for,
(4) You have a mark placed on your thumbnail with INDELIBLE INK to ensure you do not vote twice.

This is not exactly "Rocket Science" to ensure that only those citizens who are entitled to vote can vote.
