No its not Amazon is right, its Chase that is ceasing all Canadian operations and closing accounts to a zero balance. This must have cost them millions. I never heard of a bank do this. Normally they will claw over anyone to get the monies owed to them. Like the rep said on the phone when I said this is like a lottery winning and he laughed and said yep it is.

On Amazon, they are expanding in Canada, last year they opened a fulfillment center just 15 min north of my city. We now get same day delivery on a pile of items.
