Janet, as far as I know all of the companies that follow neog have strong buys.

neog trading, since I've been following it, has always acted like this; there are so few shares changing hands; the market makers, like always, have huge spreads. The earnings were great and they are going to get better, but so few shares and thin coverage is why it takes a while for it to attract attention.

neog and Vetoquinol. No one has said much here about this deal and I know everyone has been pretty much hyped on the bacteria tests, and rightly so, but do you realize how profitable this one product is? 10 cents a share in before tax profit; sounds like this acquisition pays for itself in less than 4 years.

The buy-back at these prices would be dillutive. They issued stock at $7.50 over a year ago to raise cash to make acquisitions to grow the company (like Vetoquinol). When they issued the statement about the stock buy back the stock was selling for around $7.00 and management was concerned that their company was too undervalued.

I am predicting we will finish this year with 50 cents (for the year).

RE/Where are you?/ I haven't been too active on the net lately, I am still licking my wounds from falling from such a high this last summer. In the end I had a 30% year, which I guess is respectable; although I wish you would have told me to get out when my portfolio was up 70%. Oh well, I guess it's justice for being so greedy... :-)

Best Regards,
Kevin Kramer
