************************ THIS IS THE START OF A NEW THREAD ****************************

The differences between this new start and earlier posts here is that there will be 3 types of threads to this forum.

When I talk about Canadian stocks I will preface the post with: CDN:
When I talk about American stocks I will preface the post with: USA:
And when I talk about things in general, I will preface post with: DIS:

These threads will be linked by the preface. As a result you can bounce from one post to another and not be saddled with discussions that don't interest you.

The objective of these posts are to demonstrate my style of Technical analysis.

I will create two portfolios...one Canadian and one American. Canadian stock picking is not the same as choosing American Stocks. I will explain the difference in subsequent posts.

Each portfolio will be assigned $100,000 in American or Canadian MONOPOLY money.

I will announce Buy or Sell trades as if these were real sales and BEFORE the market opens. I will date these trades as to when I submit them.

If the real sales pass through the price of the buy or sell bid then I will ASSUME my order would have been filled.

For example If I state that I will buy 1000 shares of ABC company at $5.00 at the start of a trading day and the order will be valid for 3 days. If the share price passes from $4.00 to $5.50 or the reverse then I will view the trade to have executed.

I will document the trade and reduce the available money for trading accordingly.. I love dividend stocks and will record the dividends as they are distributed.

I will not consider Brokerage fees which in my neck of the woods amounts to $10.00/trade. It is a nuisance to do so.

In the past you will see I made money on these threads but I thought I would do it again.

I hope you follow the trades and as you get to trust them you can shadow them in real life.

I love feedback, questions and suggestions to stock we might pick. I will evaluate them and say yea or nay but give reasons for my decisions.

Look forward to this
