Richard, can you tell me more about the books "The Profit Magic of Stock Transaction Timing" and "When to Sell"? How are the two books different? Also, how was that book "Street Smarts"? Was this a good book on short term trading? I think it covers basically day trading and Linda's variation on the Taylor Book Method of swing trading, right? I do understand that the book is about the trading of futures. I also hear it is considered by many as the best book written on the day trading of futures.

I see that you have gleaned some information from those books on the futures markets too. IMO all well-written books on trading will have benefit to the aspiring trader. For instance in the book "West of Wallstreet", George approaches the day trading of S&P Futures more from the orientation of a trader than the trading of the futures themselves, even though of course there is the coverage of trading on the floor of the futures exchange. This book is diferent from his "Winning in the Futures Market". There is only some overlap.
