That was absolutely constitutional. But Republicans will have to pay for that at some future date.

I believe Mitch had no choice on that. He couldn't just stand by and allow Obama to get that appointment unchallenged. It is the first time in memory that Republicans have stood up to Democrat,notably Schumer, on a Supreme Court appointment.

Still, that right is absolutely within the power of the Senate. There is no constitutional requirement that they bring any appointment to a vote.

I was really referring to bogus court decisions, the recent law in California regarding ballot eligibility, the recent law in NY trying to release Trump's tax returns, the bogus Mueller investigation that appears now to have been a sham. It is a damned mess.
