Bullshit. That's doing nothing. Even if you cut off the supply of guns tomorrow it would be 100, 200 years before they were gone.

In the meantime, great opportunities to solve the problem will have passed.

This is the problem with big government think. You believe you have solved a problem but you have done nothing. The killings will continue, you will say, "Oh, we're just waiting for the great legislation we drafted to kick in."

There are solutions we could be working on today and you all just close your eyes to them waiting on your idiotic "solution" unconstitutional solution to kick in.
