As long as the stock market is strong, President Trump will increase tariffs on China and other countries. If you don't like his tariff policy, sell your equities, as I did on Thursday and buy Gold and the gold miners. You are indirectly supporting his tariff policy by being long equities.
Also, I support Trump's critique of China in terms of being an intellectual property thief, amongst other things. I just don't like his method of trying to resolve this. Furthermore, this is an economic war between US and China and all the leading Democratic candidates support Trump's tariffs.
Care to provide me with a Dem candidate who has attacked Trump's tariffs. And give me a candidate with more than one percent of the polling vote.
