The country that went to war in Iraq after Bush lied about WMDs and then stayed in the war when there were none and then committed war crimes is destined to collapse. And it needs to collapse. Don't blame liberals or Democrats. Blame the people who voted for endless war, more terrorists, massive debt from tax cuts, etc. None of it makes sense.

If we want a war, fine, raise taxes and pay for it. If we want higher defense spending, fine, raise taxes and pay for it. If we want to take care of the vets from the war based entirely on lies, fine, raise taxes and pay for it.

But 40 years of republicans cutting taxes? It doesn't make sense.The debt went from less than $1 trillion before the tax cut to over $22 trillion today. This isn't what sane people do.
