There's a very serious legal problem those people created for themselves which immediately disqualifies them for asylum...

Firstly, they didn't have to caravan 1000's of mile to "seek asylum" if that's their true reason, they could have simply walked over to the U.S. Embassy right there in their own country and file for asylum... that's exactly what foreign embassies are there for...

Secondly, if someone is actually fleeing their country due to personal persecution, which is the only legal reason for asylum, then ONLY the very next country they enter is where they're eligible for asylum... to cross through the borders of Mexico and probably several other countries only in an attempt to reach the U.S. automatically disqualifies them for any credible asylum...

I could go on, but their plight isn't for asylum, if it were for asylum then also WHY are they waving the flag of the country they left?? It just doesn't add up, I just don't believe it...
