Hi Jim and lurkers! Found this good site explaining the health risks of exposure to beryllium and its oxide. OSHA currently regulates this compound. drambuie.lanl.gov Beryllium oxide has a very high melting point and is used in the manufacture of specialty ceramics for electrical applications including microwave tubes. Maybe going GREEN will make us some GREEN. Cabrina
