Back on track. They had to "resign" the CSO and hire a consulting firm to make it happen. Along the way they've hired staff that they recently said would not be needed. But, bottom line, they have FDA nod to start a trial. Nine months of futility, gone. Roche still a partner. Ugly story, not the one I wanted for my last major pick, but back on rails.

So........ pretty much every indication says that it actually was Invented Here Syndrome.
