OOPS! Trump approval HITS ALL TIME LOW among young voters 18-34yo in latest Poll

President Trump’s job approval rating has dropped six points among voters between the ages of 18 and 34 in the latest Hill-HarrisX poll.

The poll found 37 percent of voters in that demographic approved of Trump, compared to 43 percent when the same poll was conducted two weeks ago.

The poll was taken after the two mass shootings over the weekend, which left 31 people dead. The larger of the two shootings, in El Paso, Texas, has raised new questions about Trump's rhetoric given a manifesto the suspect allegedly wrote warning of an "invasion" of immigrants.

Trump’s approval rating was slightly stronger among voters between the ages of 35 and 49. Fifty-two percent of those in that age bracket approved of Trump’s performance.

Trump also saw a slight dip among rural voters and respondents in the South.

Almost half — forty-five percent — of voters in the South said they approved of Trump, marking a 4-point decrease from the July 20-21 poll. Forty-nine percent of rural voters, meanwhile, said they approved of Trump, representing a 3-point drop.

HarrisX researchers surveyed 1,003 registered voters from July 20-21 with a sampling margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
