I can understand wanting to build up a war chest for acquisitions. I can understand aggressive R&D. AccuMed has already done both! Are they to start the whole process over again with their previous acquisition and old R&D "being partially sold off" to finance the new cycle of acquisitions and R&D? The conference call specifically stated they (NewCo) did not have a high capital cost requirement b/c they were beyond the developmental stage. Why go to the capital markets then? Where do sales to a $3B potential market fit into this cycle?
