<< Craig, I would be interested in your take on FIBR. It has been on my watch list for a while. Is there another thread where FIBR discussion would be more on topic? >>

There are old posts on the FIBR thread where you can post to my name to move the discussion over there.

Here is one from me a while back:

Just let me say that before you risk your hard earned money on that company remember that:

A) Osicom (FIBR) has done multiple private placements (at least 5--Series A,B,C,D,E convertible preffered) to raise cash because their business is not viable. They have something like 7 cents/share in cash on the books last time I checked. I'm sure they have done another private placement or convertible debenture or something to bump that up to 20 cents.

B) Barron's wrote a scathing piece about FIBR and the stock dropped more than 50% because of it. Whether or not the things that were said were true or not you should at least get their perspective before investing.

C) Some London weekly publication wrote negative things about FIBR and FIBR sued them too (just like they sued Barron's).

D) FIBR had to pay over $1 million dollars out (of course they used stock to do it) to settle a class action lawsuit for a company they acquired.

E) There was a piece on 20/20 or some show like that about the Mafia manipulating stock prices--- FIBR was one of the stocks mentioned on the show.

F) FIBR management contacted SI and threatened legal action if SI didn't stop me from posting negative things on the FIBR thread. I couldn't post for a couple of weeks because of that. That was the best thing that could happen because it told me I should short boatloads.

G) Insiders have been selling or filing to sell 10's of thousands of shares as recently as just a couple of months ago at prices in the 2's.

H) Shares outstanding are skyrocketing. I haven't spent much time recently on the company but when I was following FIBR their shares outstanding seemed to double or triple in a year with nothing to show for it.

I'm sure I forgot something or overlooked some other tidbit of info about FIBR, but I really never have done much research on the company. I didn't need to. I just had to skim their press releases, 10Q's, read the FIBR thread and look at a chart of their stock price to figure out they were a HUGE SCAM.

If you go research FIBR and all those things I mentioned above don't bother you then be my guest and jump on the bandwagon.

I GUARANTEE YOU that by the end of 1998 FIBR will drop at least 50% from it's current level of 6 and go to 3 or less.

MARK MY WORDS

Does anyone remember what happened the last time I said that?
