I see you have a flair for the dramatic, John. No, I never wanted you to "die off." I was just taken back by your abrupt shift to the Right. I still view myself as a liberal, but more of a laissez faire liberal. And I didn't vote for President in 2012 because I didn't like either candidate.
In fact, I don't like any of the candidates now from the leading Dem candidates to Trump. Warren is full of regulation and calling people racists. Sanders wants me to pay $150 per stock trade to fund climate change. Biden is 2020's version of Hillary Clinton, bringing something to the table for everyone and no one. Kamala Harris was a joke of a prosecutor in CA and renegged her support for Medicare for all the moment the insurers objected. Oh, and I don't like Trump's tariffs. Stock market has gone nowhere since tariff 1 was initiated in February 2018. If the purpose was to get China to acquiesce and make a deal, it"s been a big failure. If purpose is to get US companies out of China and build their plants in USA, judgement is still out. But business confidence and spending has waned.
