Not in a grand way, but it can be put into a straight jacket of laws and regulations, until the 2nd amendment is all but dead. Look at how social media has rendered the first amendment all but dead. Look at how the Patriot Act destroyed Habeus Corpus. It doesn't take much to destroy what our founders built.
