Re <<vicarious>>

The coconut and mom returned from Shanghai to HK by hi-speed rail arrival home midnight. They avoided the subway system given protest / riot hiccup per reported real-time and shared friend’s van from train station to home.

They are happy to be home. The wife and I did short dialogue re HK, as she knows a lot of folks and I like to talk with people to see what they might be thinking, and I am formulating some thoughts w/r to HK. Wife has independent opinion - a good thing. So shall revert once done organised formulation for own sake.

In the mean time, I changed my way of commute to the office, instead of by minibus to subway to office, I do minibus to tram to office, for should I be stuck I prefer to be stuck above ground. Also shall avoid coming to town during weekends (we tend not to leave neighbourhood in any case except for movies).

Am pondering what ion anything to do for October break, whether to decamp HK for Thailand or wherever.

The commute this day was uneventful, and I am good in the town office where I generally hangout Mon-Thur.

Am extremely happy to be back to HK.
