So today may be TRNX's quasi ex-dividend date. I'm making the dangerous assumption that "owned as of the record date" means that the shareholder must be a shareholder of record and not just own the shares.

Looking over Stocktwits and IHub, there's the usual garble seen on the message boards of every penny stock which manages to gain traction. Everyone is euphoric about the spin off, is warning people about short sellers and one person even posted a Zardiw-like "DD List" of reasons to own the stock. Nobody is voicing anything about the dividend issue.
