I saw the beyond meat patties in one of the local groceries here so I had to try it Honestly, I didn't really care for it. The uncooked pattie had a really strange odor, something chemical like It definitely has the look of meat, but not the taste... In the past I have tried different veggie burger recipes that tasted superior to these. Of course doing one from scratch takes a bit of effort which I imagine fast food fans do not have the "stomach" for. After being disappointed with the experience I had to have a real burger... I bought a nice grass fed piece of beef, sliced it up into chunks and put it in a small food processor. It's so easy to make your own ground beef patties. Oh boy, yum... I don't do burgers often but if so, that's the way to do it. Apparently the "impossible burger" is closer to meat taste and texture
