Called Sitrick and Co. to try to get an answer as to what the heck they were doing. I was told that they no longer work for Cymer as of Fri or Mon (she wasn't sure!). Thinking that Cymer has plum gone out of business I hastily called the co. and spoke with someone in IR (also left msgt for Aikens to call me) - she said they have switched firms - couldn't tell me who and then I quizzed her as to why so silent in the last couple months. She said there's nothing to say. It's also quiet period so she couldn't really help me out. I asked I assume no news is good news right" and the answer again was "there is nothing new to report." My take is that they will meet/beat estimates but i'm sure (like all the others) they will mention slowdown in ASia for future having impact. FWIW Ajay
