They did several remakes and none were as god as the original (by far). I think a lot of credit goes to Sidney Lumet the director and the cinematography was excellent as well. Thinking of the shot of the old man when he says " He didn't vote "not guilty", I did". Was just a head shot. To me it illustrated the power of a well crafted team and a synergistic interaction / problem solving.
