Highlights of the News

Donald John Trump is still your president.

ITEM 1: Breitbart News reported, "President Donald Trump ripped the establishment Wall Street Journal on Thursday for editorializing against his ongoing trade battle with China."

The president said at his rally in NH, "The Wall Street Journal editorial board and some others continue to publish foolish articles that demonstrate that they understand nothing about trade or business. Nothing."

President Trump took a million-dollar enterprise headquartered on Coney Island and turned it into a multi-billion-dollar empire run by 22,000 employees.

The Journal's editorial board went to journalism school.

Now the president has taken them to business school.

ITEM 2: Elizabeth Warren wrote, " As I said when I spoke to the National Congress of American Indians in 2018, Washington owes Native communities respect — and much more. Washington owes Native communities a fighting chance to build stronger communities and a brighter future.

"To achieve this, we must end the corruption that empowers giant corporate interests to trample the interests of indigenous peoples."

How about we start with reparations from law professors who lied about being Indians to get hired at Penn and then Harvard? It is time to hold her accountable for her exploitation of Indians.

ITEM 3: Roll Call reported, "Rep. Rashida Tlaib will forgo a trip to see her aging grandmother in the West Bank after the Israeli government said it would allow a visit on humanitarian grounds.

"In a reversal, Tlaib rejected the conditions laid out by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the humanitarian visit, namely, that she not broadcast her support for boycotting Israel over its actions against Palestinians during her stay.

"Tlaib, the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, was permitted to visit family in the village of Beit Ur al-Fouqa, including her sity, only if she agreed to those terms."

Bibi played her like Bill Barr on bagpipes.

ITEM 4: She specifically asked to see her grandmother.

Then she denied it. She tweeted, "Let’s be clear: the goal of our trip was to witness firsthand what is happening on the ground in Palestine and hear from stakeholders — our job as Members of Congress."

Does grandma exist? Tlaib is a Democrat.

ITEM 5: Reuters reported, "A phone call from US President Donald Trump last week ended a nearly two-month-long review of the nation’s biofuels program, three sources familiar with the matter said, with the White House siding in favor of oil refiners over corn growers.

"Trump gave Andrew Wheeler, head of the US Environmental Protection Agency, the green light for the regulator to announce it had granted 31 small refinery exemptions out of the 40 applications, saying he wanted the issue off his desk, the sources said.

"Trump’s call triggered a flurry of action within the EPA, leading up to a surprise Friday afternoon announcement, after weeks of negotiations between US government agencies failed to make progress in addressing farmers’ concerns."

He's the president, which makes him the boss of the federal government. This is why we elected him.

ITEM 6: The South China Morning Post reported, "Senator Chuck Grassley, the Republican chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, has called on the Treasury Department to investigate whether the 2015 purchase of an American tech business by a Chinese state-owned company was approved because of conflicts of interest within the Obama administration.

"The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) acquired a majority stake in the US firm Henniges, a Michigan-based producer of automotive anti-vibration technology, after the Committee of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) gave its approval.

"One of the companies involved in the Henniges transaction, according to a New York Post article cited by Grassley, was formed by a son of then-vice president Joe Biden and the stepson of then-secretary of state John Kerry.

"CFIUS is charged with screening foreign acquisitions or investments in US firms for potential threats to national security. In a move widely regarded as a means to bolster scrutiny of Chinese money flowing into the US, the inter-agency body’s regulatory purview and powers were expanded under legislation passed in August 2018."

Hillary emailed classified information to Red China. Biden and Kerry cut deals with them. Obama gave Iran $170 billion.

But do not dare question their patriotism. They are the most patriotic people on the planet. Their patriotism is just for some other country is all.

ITEM 7: Time magazine reported, "We Counted Every Line in Every Quentin Tarantino Film to See How Often Women Talk."

Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.

And now you know why I cite the South China Morning Post more than I do Time.

ITEM 8: KUSI reported, "Three San Diego residents filed a federal lawsuit today challenging California’s assault weapon ban, with the plaintiffs alleging that the state is violating its residents’ Second Amendment rights by its allegedly misguided definition of assault weapons.

"The suit, filed on behalf of James Miller, Patrick Russ and Ryan Peterson, as well as the San Diego County Gun Owners Political Action Committee, alleges that the types of firearms banned under California’s definition of assault weapons are lawfully protected under the Second Amendment.

"The suit calls California’s usage of the term 'assault weapons,' 'a politically-concocted pejorative term designed to suggest that there is an inherently unlawful or illegitimate basis for owning otherwise common firearms protected by the Second Amendment.'"

Democrats believe if they call a firearm an assault weapon it is not protected by the Constitution. Anybody but an Obama judge would say no.

ITEM 9: Breitbart Politics reported, "The leading gay Republican organization Log Cabin Republicans has endorsed President Trump for his reelection bid in 2020 after remaining neutral during the last presidential election.

"Log Cabin Republicans Chairman Robert Kabel and Vice Chairwoman Jill Homan praised Trump for following 'through on many of his commitments to the United States, including taking bold actions that benefit the LGBTQ community' in an op-ed for the Washington Post."

Some people get it. Others never wake up and smell the conservatism.

ITEM 10: National Review reported, "Trump Must Not Break His Promises to Gun-Rights Supporters."

Otherwise, what? Never Trumpers are going to not vote for him again?

They think they can tell President Donald John Trump what to do. Pure comedy gold.

ITEM 11: Tyler O'Neill reported, "On Thursday night, the Wall Street Journal caused a stir by reporting that President Donald Trump has considered buying Greenland because it's a renewable energy hub and it holds a strategic position in the Arctic, where Russia and China have made moves for dominance. "

Greenlanders issued a statement, which said, "We have a good cooperation with USA, and we see it as an expression of greater interest in investing in our country and the possibilities we offer. Of course, Greenland is not for sale."

Says who?

Denmark owns Greenland.

ITEM 12: James Delingpole wrote, "St. Greta of Thunberg has made it into the cover of GQ and is now on her way across the Atlantic in a $4 million yacht to lecture Americans about climate change.

"Could there be anything more emblematic of the stupidity of our age?"

Yes. A date between her and David A. Hogg, the gun ban nut.

ITEM 13: Business Insider reported, "Obama told Biden advisers not to let the former Veep ‘damage his legacy’ in his 2020 presidential run."

Like Jimmy Carter, his legacy is being such a dud that America went the opposite direction and elected a good man to save the country.

ITEM 14: Breitbart News reported, "Trump: New Hampshire Speech Broke Elton John’s Arena Attendance Record."

And you can tell everybody, this is your prez...
