Chinese nationalism .. is very strong That can be good and bad depending on the situation, as shown in the video. Some of my core ideologies are "the rule of law", "the consent of the governed" and "free speech for everyone on the planet." Because of this I can't support Xi or the CCP. This goes for anyone who wants to be a ruler for life. I hope for the best for the Chinese people, but I fear greatly for those in Hong Kong now. I can only hope that there is a pragmatic solution to this situation.
