"Mueller could have recommended impeachment"
He's being coy.


Robert Mueller has dodged Democratic attempts to get him to say the word impeachment — a tactic that was on full display in an exchange with Rep.Veronica Escobar, a Texas Democrat.

Ms. Escobar pressed Mr. Mueller to explain a footnote in his report where he referred to "other constitutional processes" — a euphemism that was widely understood to be referring to impeachment.

Ms. Escobar: What are those constitutional processes?"

Mr. Mueller: "Uh, I think I heard you mention at least one."

Ms. Escobar: "Impeachment, correct?"

Mueller: "I'm not going to comment."
