I wasn't able to put it into words, but your right...............he has the patience of a surgeon.

Didn't realize what was involved in the cleaning/restoring process, but knew it had to be very complicated. That part near the end where he removed those old, old labels to preserve the provenance was amazing. And then there was the repair of the frame where he had to make a mold and match the color of the old frame.............really impressive.

I have an original watercolor of an upstate NY landscape that was in a home where the owner was a heavy smoker. It desperately needs cleaning, and I've often wondered how that is done? (YT probably has a video of that too?) I know I'll have to pay a conservator to clean the picture..............and in my own mind it's so well done it would be worth a lot to pay someone to do it, but I've always been interested in art restoration and this guy really showed how it's done.

Again.................thanks!
