Not a single Trumpster can say this is a crazy idea. Not one can give a rational reason for why we should do it. For over 70 years, Greenland has housed a very strategic air base defending the American homeland (and not Denmark) from potential attack over the pole. In addition to being an ally of America, Denmark is a capitalist country which allows resource investment from both Danish and non-Danish companies.* Denmark is also home to a good sized oil company, Maersk, which develops oil and gas all over the world, including in the US. In addition to Greenland, Denmark controls a slice of the North Sea and there has been no problem developing resources there either: *Btw, picking a fight with Denmark could potentially endanger that if Trump does his typical "double, triple, quadruple down on stupid" tactic.
