Yes, based upon obsolete and self-fulfilling - biased assumptions.

We now know there is great diversity within the old gender biases. Beyond a pussy + tits vs. a penis, if you will allow me to state the obvious.

And stereotypes led to the conclusions we are biased to, about nature vs. nurture, or "women" and "men."

And that queer was abnormal, for example.

Or that trans are sick people who do not understand what God wanted them to be.

Our generation has plenty of biases that are slowly being illuminated.

The idea that women, because they are women, will save us is well-intentioned

but.not.true.

This is not to say that the opportunities should be open to ALL -- and the privileges and negative bullshit be changed.
