Hi Jay, I have never SOES traded...what I do is trade from home via information and charts and news from AT financial (http://www.atfi.com) which is really a professional service. Everything (and I mean everything) costs 420$/month...level II, TOS, realtime charting, rueters news etc......then I execute trades through Datek, which uses almost exclusively the ECN known as 'ISLAND', ISLD on nasdaq level II screens......this is a great setup for quick executions of 3-10 seconds, but more geared to trading off of charts rather than momentum because I dont think you will be able to match the speed you can get in an office when it comes to ENTERING the order....this will take you 5-7 seconds on Datek if you are very fast....in a soes office I think its faster therefoe more condusive to scalping.....hope this helps...I may be looking into an office situation myself. Any to suggest?
