Ken<According to some, SLB did not "miss" Zacks and I/B/E/S borh estimated 2.61 for the year. Actual was 2.62! ********************************** Its amazing what the rationalizing mind can do :-). Any way you look at it, SLB missed the Qs earniings estimate by .04. As all we heard (and said), during the punishment the sector received, was fundementals are the same, and these stocks earnings will continue to grow at a healthy clip, this shortfall throws a real scare at these assumptions. I know SLB grew at a healthy pace from last years results, but for them (and DO), to miss today, is a real shocker. Its kinda like Intel and CPQ missing on the same day (not a great analogy, but you get the idea). Dave
