Gary, It is even worse than that. Compaq counts it as a sale when it is delivered to the distributor channel. So, to barely make their quarter, they stuffed the channel hugely last quarter and even filled their own warehouses with crapola to keep prices higher than they should be under natural supply and demand. I laughed about their pooh-poohing of Asia. That didn't hit them last quarter. It will this time. And there has to be a point where the channel screams Uncle. MB
