We are seeing a new type of money flow into Brazil.

In the past decade, carry traders borrowed at a low interest rate and invested for higher rate of return in Brazil that had high interest rates.

Now, this Siemens example is showing raising money at zero interest money and investing in Brazil expansion.

Where is the money going to?

Is going to Brazil. Siemens announced plans Wednesday to invest €1 billion ($1.24 billion) in Brazil over the next five years as Latin America's largest economy strengthens its recovery from a painful recession.

Siemens invests in Brazil to 'unleash growth' German engineering giant Siemens has announced plans to triple its investments in Brazil. It said the new resources would mainly go into electrification, automation and digitalization projects across the nation.
