Ron, I posted the MF comment because it seemed like a well thought out discussion on the sales issue. Personnally, I think trying to figure the rate of sales out from when the announcements are made is like trying to drive a car from the back seat.

As to IO comming out with a 200 or 400 meg drive, I hope they are smart enough to avoid that mistake. With Zip at $149-199 and Jaz at $599 (soon to be cheaper I suspect), there is no market for anything inbetween. If you have Zip and it's not enough you will not waste you time on an upgrade to 200 or 400 megs, but go straight to the Jaz. If you're in the market for a drive as a first time user and go for the 200 or 400 meg drive it will be at the expense of Zip sales initially, but eventually will hurt sales of Jaz (IMHO). Their money would be much better spent working on a 2 gig drive!
