W/r to HK, was asked and I figured ...

Bullet points for submittal, and here they be without poor whining, bad-actor denigration, useless bias, and pointless but evil fake news

(1) Immediate Situation: many groups w/ grievances, legitimate and otherwise, are expressing themselves through means legal and criminal.

(1-i) Important: the groups are not together in alliance, but cannot be easily separated, as there are enough bad actors stirring and hijacking the situation

(1-ii) People want: protection of savings and investments, and rule of law, and responsive governance

(1-iii) The extradition bill endangered savings and investments, and rule of law, and indicated unresponsive governance

(1-iv) Current street riots by small groups hidden amongst larger groups endanger savings and investments, and rule of law, and unless pacified by the authorities, indicate breakdown of rule of law

(1-v) Resolution:

- Authorize clearly organized demonstrations but not any marches, so as to decrease the opportunities of lawbreaking and disruption to people’s lives, and reduce chances of violence engendered by black groups hiding within peaceful groups. Make the organizers equally responsible for ensuring peace within authorized settings, with help of invited, welcomed, and cooperative police, that which is simply a rule-of-law organization

- The extradition bill is no longer an issue, and if an issue, a dead issue, full stop

- Investigations shall be carried on by the authorities and by the unbiased independents against all law-breakers irrespective or organization affiliation (all groupings, including civil service and police), for extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures, full stop

- Training and communication measures across all society, including schools

- Rule-of-law plays out for all, for the good of Hong Kong, explained to Hong Kong

(2) Longer Term: Hong Kong needs policies and catalysts for continuing, inclusive, hope and prosperity

Important: More people must have ‘skin’ in the wellbeing of Hong Kong

(2-i) People needs work, wealth protection, healthcare, education, and place to live

(2-ii) Remind people about what is important to Hong Kong and how Hong Kong can remain great

(2-iii) Help engender long term economic opportunities (science, technology, engineering, medicine)

(2-iv) English and Mandarin education, and global education

(2-v) Preventative and attentive medicine, modern and traditional, transparent and reliable, and affordable

(2-vi) Public housing

(2-vii) Great Bay Area, Biotech Park, Fintech, IPO, global HQ hub, etc etc

(3) Consultation, consideration, communication, confirmation
