Jim: Don't assume that because the newsletter charges $495 that they are precluded from being paid by companies or are prevented from trading their own recommendations (contrary to their advice to you). Global Financial Traders, which was a paid subsrcription newsletter was hauled in by the SEC last year for what amounted to a pump and dump scam with USMC. While they were heavily reccommending their paid subscribers to buy USMC, they dumped their own substantial postion. The stock plunged and has never recovered. Read all fine print and disclosure statements. No matter who the publisher is. It's a dog-eat-dog world out here.
