Martin, people are on this negative trip, can't figure it out. Usually, in Jan/Feb we have a good market. Markets are down today, which obviously does not help mining stocks. I was indeed expecting Ashton to do much better today. The sad thing about this play is that if Ashton can not maintain a value of $5.00 plus, with 17 kimberlites and decent samples to date, I can't see how other Alberta diamond exploration stocks will maintain their current value. As we all know, Ashton is like a diamond index in Allberta. Stocks tend to move down with it and move up with it. When kimberlites start being announced all over by other companies, you will see bullish rallies on the diamond juniors and then the stock will settle back to a new support level until the next round of news.
