Yup, she is a hairy beast in spite of daily brushing but a small price to pay for all the smiles we get from even the grumpiest fellow motorists and pedestrians. Added benefit ... No one will attempt to steal the car :-)

As an aside, Bella has come a long way since we got her less than 2 months ago. Her aggression towards other canines is largely gone and she is actually learning to play with other dogs. Something she obviously never experienced in her previous life. Her protective behaviour towards strangers is still there. She quickly decides who she likes and who she doesn’t. Interestingly enough it pretty well mirrors our likes or dislikes. Thankfully her body language is not hard to read and her recall is now nearly flawless which keeps all parties out of harms way.

Bottom line ... If you think of getting another canine, don’t shy away from challenges. Nothing is more rewarding than giving a “reject” another chance.
