check this out.... Sonny Bono's Widow Says She Will Run for His Congressional Seat Mary Bono, widow of Congressman Sonny Bono, said Thursday she will run for his seat in an April 7 special election. Mrs. Bono said in Palm Springs, Calif., that she will make a formal announcement Feb. 2. Her husband, 62, died in a skiing accident Jan. 5.
