Dave........I've been working (as has Andy) with the StochRSI and while
he and I are having fun looking at a shorter oscillation, I wanted to
run this idea by you. In your StochRSI formula, I substitue 13 for 14
to be FIB-loyal, but then I subtract 50 from the indicator to get (guess
what) an oscillator. My trigger signals are now +/- 21, but I've added
a caveat to the trading system. Don't take the trade unless a short
8,5 Stochastic is BELOW 50 and moving up! Trades taken if that
Stochastic is ABOVE 50 seem to run out of steam faster and have
less potential. I haven't run a true test on this yet, but it eyeballs out.
