It was multibus bus rsys bought, not vme as stated above as "It was a great move to purchase the vme from Intel as this business is still expected to increase, although slowly, in the future." I do agree it's right thing rsys did. In my view, rsys's strength is in its unique concept of "design-in" relation with its customers. Due to this, it tends to focus on high-end of market. As PC gets cheaper, I would like to hear about how it compares with force (a solectron's sub) in hardware and venturCom in software. How does it fare with its DSP investment? How does it penetrate in industrial automation market? I also have reservation about its InTime(NT extension) investment. For software I have more faith in its cooperation with Steeplechase on RTOS and WINDOWS CE.

Finally I'm less concerned about d2d price change and spread. It is an expansion sector rsys is in, if it's executed right, rsys should do well. That's sign I am watching. Unfortunately, it's much easier to watch stock price/volumn an da lot harder to feel company's pulses. Conference calls are wonderful, but harder to get phone number & codes.(ws)
