The Fed has become a political institution like the Supreme Court. Healthcare and college tuition costs have skyrocketed. Rents have increased dramatically, to the tune of 30% over the past two years here in Nevada. College tuition increases are not part of the CPI. The Fed is on Trump's reelection campaign committee so they will do as he says. I have heard that the stock market rises so that the Rich can make their big campaign contributions. Is it any wonder that the 3rd year of the Presidential cycle is the best year for the stock market? Trump is a mobster politician. So was Bill Clinton.
