You have sold your heart and soul to the Trump propaganda. It is hard to take you seriously. You really need some distance or perspective to get a grip. First off, China is willingly transitioning away from a dominant export economy. They are seeking to achieve more balance within. Secondly, they are in a much better negotiating position than you think. They can easily wait out the results of the 2020 election. Biden ( who I am not a fan of) is on record stating "China is not a threat."
Trump needs a deal prior to the 2020 election. There is a distinct possibility there could be a deal in 2020 with China making minor concessions. Trump is in way over his head. The Chinese economy is a lot stronger and bigger than Trump and his advisors anticipated. That is to say, breaking China is not going to happen. What will happen if the trade war continues and intensifies is much higher prices first, then extremely slow growth. It is called stagflation. Take a look at base metal prices and gold and silver. Copper is beginning to percolate. Manufacturing is already in recession in USA. Once companies curtail their hiring, the consumer will pull back. Look at the recent Michigan consumer sentiment surveys.
You are very one dimensional and look at things solely from a Politico Trump perspective. Broaden out, if possible, try to think critically and independently.
