The gop just gave $2 trillion of new debt to their donors and you said Dems are the party of "monied interests." Refute what I just wrote. I dare you try cuz I'll destroy you within seconds.

No, I don't remember CFC because that was long before I was born but I see the US did something about it and it worked. It's like the history of pollution. Corporate American created a environmental disaster pre 1970s and government forced them to stop acting like babies. People aren't rushed to the ER after they fall into a river or lake. Now, we can swim and fish in rivers and lakes. Chalk one up to the good guys winning one.

The decline of the US seems to be centered around one basic concept. The gop gave absolute power to businesses while ensuring workers (unions) had no say in wages, or government. Our decline is self evident. The largest creditor nation on earth became the largest debtor nation after Reagan cut taxes.

Lies about WMDs led to Bush being reelected while global leaders who believed his lies lost their elections.

And then there's Trump and his endless stream of mindless idiocy and a media starved for ratings repeating every word he says ad nauseam.

But most of all there's the debt. Republicans learned they could say one thing and do the opposite and still win elections. The debt rose to over $22 trillion after taxes were cut and cut and cut and cut and cut and cut and cut and cut. Math died in the gop because they can't add or subtract.
