D-Jack is Back ... and so is Philly's Deep Threat! ...

A younger and flakier DeSean started his NFL career as an Eagle but after 6 seasons in the City of Brotherly Love, after a career year and amidst much fan chagrin Chip Kelly in his less than infinite wisdom released him. For the last 5 years during 3 seasons with the Redskins and 2 with the Buccaneers DeSean returned to Philly each year to consistently burn the Eagles. Fortunately this spring GM Howie Roseman brought D-Jack back on a 3 year $28 million contract. After 1 game into that contract the Eagles are already enjoying an ROI on that investment. DeSean already owned the NFL record of 24 for 60+ yard touchdowns but on Sunday he passed Randy Moss and moved into 2nd place behind only Jerry Rice for 50+ yard touchdown receptions ...

Brian Westbrook, Chris Carter and Nick Wright discuss whether or not anyone can stop the Eagles offense if Carson Wentz and DeSean Jackson continue to click like they did in Week 1 ...

There is a possibility that DeSean will pass Jerry Rice this year for the title of all-time best NFL Deep Threat Receiver. He needs 5 to tie Jerry. 6 to pass him. If not this year then next or the year after. As 1 of 5 top notch wide receivers and with 2 talented 6'5 tight ends Carson Wentz has arguably the best receiving corp in the NFL and should be at least a contender for League MVP if he and they stay healthy and With several running backs that can catch the ball Carson can really spread the ball around.
