I recently watched Breaking Bad.. The depravity and lack of regard for human life grew as the series progressed... I almost stopped watching it a result.. There is plenty enough of that chit for real.. I do not find it entertaining... I did not realise I had only one left to go... The only satisfying thing in the ending was the anti hero dies.. seeing that his microcosm of a better society (his family level) was indeed only an exercise in self indulgence and that he had lost his humanity ... At any rate.. if we need sink to a level of Negan.. maybe there is nothing worth preserving ... Walking dead started off as a typical triumph of the human spirit with some tough choices.. then it lost its way IMO... I stopped watching when Glen was killed.. it shouldda been Daryl of course.. but that would have killed the series :) and as the Zager and Evans lyric goes... In the year 7510 If God's a coming, He oughta make it by then Maybe He'll look around Himself and say Guess it's time for the judgment day In the year 8510 God is gonna shake His mighty head He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been Or tear it down, and start again
