I just pulled up the last few 10-K's and used 'find'. I never use the Edgar full text search but that's good to know that it only searches back four years. Thanks. I suppose it's good that Edgar has that feature even if it doesn't go back that far.

It was a nice leap when the SEC started adding in XBRL as well several years ago. I put together a website for my own use at pants.finance which I occasionally update with all of the new 10K/Q data of all companies which file. That gives me a snapshot of companies when I start researching them and the XBRL makes it much, much easier to pull the data. Before XBRL I was compiling Edgar data by parsing through the HTML files, looking for and scoring tables to find which ones were the balance sheet/operations/cash flow statements and then I had another scoring system to figure out where the numbers fell. That was a bit harder.
