Let's look at the facts. Clinton balanced the budgets with tax increases and fiscal conservatives hated him because he proved they were wrong. Republicans are 100% wrong 100% of the time.

After Dems raised taxes, they lost the next few elections and republicans got the credit for the balanced budgets. What did they do? They talked about it and the media let them talk about it.

Why would any Democrat ever give a shit about deficits when republican voters reward massive deficits and debt and punish Dems after we lower deficits and debt?

As long as the gop exists the US is destined to collapse.

Btw, the tea party came into existence by lying about "death panels" in the ACA. They also promised to never raise the debt ceiling which also means defaulting on the debt. A purge of the entire gop is necessary.

The republican party hell bent on destroying the country so I say, move out of the way and let them do it.

After they're gone, we'll try to bring the giant back but it'll never be great again.
