This is simple. Everyone wants something from the government. 1) The billionaires wants the government to borrow money and give it to him (call it a tax cut so it doesn't sound like socialism). 2) The guy who wants help from the government to pay for his medication 3) The guy who wants grain subsidies 4) The elderly couple who want Medicare 5) The Southern voter wants a military job 6) the coal workers, car workers, lumber workers and steel workers who wants government to take the jobs away from machines and give it back to them 7) the guy who wants his daughter to be a doctor and not be saddled with debt for the rest of her life, etc. The idea that there are moderates or conservatives is joke. Everyone is the same and everyone wants something from the government. The people who scream the loudest about "socialism" are the guys who get the most from the government, It's that simple. The debt soars because republicans can't raise taxes.
