A picture from yesterday’s walk on the Bruce Trail. If you don’t know what the Bruce Trail is ... brucetrail.org

Nothing more satisfying than seeing a “problem dog” experiencing the “wild” while she learns what is acceptable and what is not. Her recall is now (99%) perfect as is her stop, sit, down and stay AND she is losing her “rotten” attitude towards strangers (2 and 4 legged). I never had a dog learning this fast. It feels like she wants to please simply to avoid any possibility to go back to her previous life.

Not posting this to make us look good. Simply posting it to encourage people to take a chance on rescues. No leash and lots of fun chasing squirrels or simply just dashing through the woods.

PS: A huge stumbling block in getting Bella to where she needs to be ... Ignorant dog owners with generally yappy and totally out of control canines controlled by leashes and not by taught reasonable behaviour. 90% of dog owners don’t have a clue about dog obedience. I can’t help but wonder what they do with their children.
